1. Account Terms

1.1 Account Creation and Eligibility

To access MUSEWRITE's services, you must create an account using valid credentials. By creating an account, you certify that you are at least 13 years of age. Users between 13 and 18 years must have parental consent. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to maintain its accuracy. Each user is limited to one account, and account sharing is prohibited. MUSEWRITE reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

1.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. MUSEWRITE cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with this security obligation. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication and regularly updating your password using strong combinations of characters.

2. Platform Usage

2.1 Acceptable Use

MUSEWRITE provides a platform for creative writing and community engagement. You agree to use our services for lawful purposes only and in accordance with these terms. Your use of the platform must respect the rights of other users and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We expect users to maintain professional conduct in all interactions and contribute to a positive community environment.

2.2 Prohibited Activities

When using MUSEWRITE, you explicitly agree not to engage in any of the following activities: posting content that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence; harassing other users through any medium; attempting to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts; using the service to distribute malware or conduct phishing attacks; scraping or collecting user data without explicit permission; or manipulating platform metrics through artificial means such as automated scripts or fake accounts.

3. Content Rights and Responsibilities

3.1 Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and post on MUSEWRITE. By submitting content to our platform, you grant MUSEWRITE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your content across our platform and promotional materials. This license exists solely for the purpose of operating and improving our services, and will terminate when your content is deleted from our systems.

3.2 AI-Generated Content

When using our AI writing assistance features, you acknowledge that the AI-generated content is provided as a tool to enhance your creative process. While you maintain ownership of the final work that incorporates AI suggestions, you agree that the underlying AI models and generated content patterns remain the intellectual property of MUSEWRITE. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content to ensure it meets your standards and intended use.

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Premium Services

MUSEWRITE offers premium subscription tiers that provide enhanced features and capabilities. Premium subscriptions are billed according to your selected plan (monthly or annual) through our payment processor, Razorpay. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Premium features include advanced AI writing assistance, expanded storage capacity, priority support, and access to exclusive workshops and events.

4.2 Billing and Cancellation

Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. Price changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance, and will take effect at your next billing cycle.

5. Platform Modifications

5.1 Service Changes

MUSEWRITE reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, including the availability of any features, database, or content. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts or all of the service without notice or liability. Significant changes will be communicated through our platform notifications system or via email to registered users.

5.2 Terms Updates

These Terms of Service may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify users of material changes through prominent notices on our platform and via email. Your continued use of MUSEWRITE after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with any changes, you must discontinue using our services.

6. Termination

6.1 Account Termination

MUSEWRITE reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

6.2 Data Retention

Following account termination, we may retain your data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your content by contacting our support team. However, certain information may remain in our backup systems or be retained as necessary for legitimate business purposes or legal requirements.

7. Liability and Indemnification

7.1 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MUSEWRITE and its officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.

7.2 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MUSEWRITE and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the service, including any breach of these Terms.
